About Us

Our expertise in Web development goes back over ten years and our expertise in mobile development goes back to 2000.  While the Web was taking off in 1996 we were involved with one of the earliest web development firms in Atlanta building Web sites and applications for Fortune 500 as well as small start-up companies.

We became enamored with mobile development in 2000 and attempted to build an enterprise mobile application running on the Palm VIIx using the Mobitex network.  As anyone who also attempted this task probably learned as well, the mobile Web in the United States was not up to par in 2000.  However, we continued to build and support mobile enterprise applications for the next six years and with the advent of what we hope is the "real" mobile Web we are inclined to take all of our experience in both Web development and mobile development and help others who are trying to build mobile web applications.

Our founder Richard Yates started and led the Wireless Applications Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Wireless Technology Forum which was founded in Atlanta and has been serving the needs of the Atlanta mobile and wireless community for the past three years.  Also, he was involved in leading, managing, developing, and delivering the mobile and wireless technology field force solutions for a start-up company in the environmental services space that grew from 500K to over 15MM in four years.  Furthermore, he has built several additional mobile and wireless applications serving the government and enterprise space both "shrink-wrapped" and enterprise and has learned many of the "lessons" that serve him well in moving into the .mobi environment.
